Overview: Doug and I have been replaying our wedding day over and over, and remembering how much fun we had! The whole day was perfect, even the Indiana weather cooperated. I was busy in the morning helping set up at the Commons and even made a last minute Target run at 8am 🙂 Once we decided on having the wedding in Columbus, it was an easy choice for venues. I grew up attending First Christian Church and The Commons is beautiful. We loved that the sunlight would be our “lighting” in the huge space. We chose to stay with neutrals and golds for our base colors and add in light pink for an accent color. I originally wanted an outdoor wedding so when we decided on The Commons I knew I would want a lot of flowers to be included in the decor. I was excited to see everything together at the reception since I had only seen bits and pieces together through the whole planning process. Looking back, I would not have changed a thing!

Favorite Moment: Doug and I agreed that our favorite moment was also the funniest. Our friends did such a great job on their toasts, I think most people in the room cried and laughed through all 3. I know I did! Hearing all of them speak meant the world to us, they were heartfelt and made us feel so special and loved.
