Ellie and Grant’s floral-filled wedding on their family’s 30-acre flower farm in Indiana was summer perfection. Despite a few pivots after the record floods the week before, the day was full of laughter, Aperol spritzes, sunkissed light, and an abundance of flowers.
Ellie’s mom had spent months planting flowers specifically for the wedding, making the property itself one of the most meaningful parts of the celebration. As an Indianapolis wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting to photograph.
I’m obsessed with their wedding paper suite, featuring hand-painted illustrations of the property and little nods to the flowers Ellie’s mom grew for the day. Ellie’s romantic gown looked equally perfect against the wildflowers and summer landscape.
Ellie’s officiant was also a past bride of mine, so it was especially wonderful to catch up with her and her parents again. Those connections are one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer in Indianapolis.
Ellie and Grant, it was such a pleasure—and an honor—to be part of your trusted team. Your flower-filled summer celebration was unforgettable.
