Dom + Rach’s Charleston Summer Wedding was one of those magical days where love, joy, and a bit of ocean breeze came together perfectly. Dom, originally from the UK, met Rach while in Indiana—and the rest is history. After months of long-distance, countless flights, and a pandemic pause, these two finally got to celebrate their love. While they had originally planned for an Indiana wedding, they pivoted to a destination wedding aboard the Carolina Girl in Charleston, and it was such a fun change of pace for me as a Charleston wedding photographer. It was actually my first time photographing a wedding on a boat, and I absolutely loved it!

Their energy was contagious, and their group made me feel like part of the crew from the moment I stepped on board. Even more impressive? Dom and Rach woke up early the next morning to wander Charleston’s charming streets for more portraits—true dedication!
