Loren and Mike’s Scottish Rite Summer Wedding was a beautiful celebration that came after a year of big pivots and even bigger resilience. Originally planning for a winter wedding, the pair shifted to July 2021, and wow—did it pay off. Their day was full of light, laughter, and just the right amount of unexpected charm (yes, that faux fur you might spot in photos is a sweet nod to their original winter plans!). As an Indianapolis wedding photographer, days like this remind me how much joy and beauty can come from the unexpected.

The couple began their day getting ready at the JW Marriott, then hopped on a trolley for portraits at some of downtown Indy’s most iconic spots. Loren and Mike exchanged vows at the stunning Scottish Rite Cathedral Theater, then danced the night away in the grand ballroom. It was such an honor to capture their energy and love—these two made our jobs easy and so, so fun. Cheers to Loren and Mike!
