Rachel and Chris’ late summer wedding at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields was nothing short of magical. As an Indianapolis wedding photographer, it’s such a joy to document celebrations that are not only visually stunning but deeply meaningful—and this one had it all.
Together since high school, Rachel and Chris’ love story has grown over the years, and their wedding day reflected that long-standing connection. Planned and designed by the talented team at Mon Amie Events, their European floral-inspired soirée felt like stepping into a romantic dreamscape.
The day began with a bit of rain, but the skies soon cleared, setting the tone for a beautiful celebration. The gardens at Newfields made for the perfect backdrop, and the florals by Pomp & Bloom were otherworldly—lush, elegant, and bursting with color. Every detail was curated to perfection, from the stationery by Oliver’s Twist to the custom art by Melinda Spear Huff.
Guests danced late into the night thanks to the high-energy vibes of Emerald City Band, and the joy in the air was contagious. We’re still dreaming about this day—and can’t wait to see where life takes this sweet couple next (especially on their European honeymoon!). Congratulations, Rachel and Chris!
