It was such a treat to meet and photograph Leah and Matt for their unique and joy-filled engagement session! We kicked things off with a gorgeous drive down to Holiday World, the place where their love story began—and where they both work! Our first stop was Leah’s favorite wooden roller coaster, where we (safely!) climbed up for a bird’s eye view of the park. Talk about an unforgettable start! We wandered through a few more meaningful spots throughout the park, capturing moments that were not only beautiful but personal to their journey.

After Holiday World, we made our way to Louisville for a champagne toast at their go-to wine bar, Nouvelle Wine. We wrapped up the session on the Louisville Walking Bridge just in time for a glowing sunset. As a Midwest engagement photographer, I love when couples incorporate places that tell their story—and Leah and Matt’s session couldn’t have been more them. I can’t wait to capture their wedding at West Baden with Mon Amie Events next spring. It’s going to be magic!
