Lauren + John Indianapolis Engagement Portrait Session with their canines and horse.

When I met Lauren a few weeks back during her sister’s wedding, I was keeping my fingers crossed that I would get to work with the Sogard family again. They are animal and art loving, all around great people. When Lauren reached out for me to capture her June Trader’s Point creamery wedding to John, I was super excited. Their engagement portraits included their dogs and Lauren’s beloved horse of 14 years. If you know me, anytime an animal is included I’m all the more excited. Lauren, John, and their pets were a joy to capture. Lauren is a dog trainer, so her three boys were so well behaved. Her I am looking forward to working with them (and families) next summer!!

Q+A with Bride to Be Lauren:

How did you two meet? First Date? The couple met on social media. Initially they met at the Tin Roof and their first date likely was at the HopCat. Proposal? He proposed on March 22, the day after my birthday at my party at my parents home with friends and family! Wedding plans? The wedding is and animal and outdoor loving feel at traders point creamery. We’d like it to be classic but fun and not over the top dressy, but an over the top party!
