Canal 337 Indianapolis Fall Wedding Photography

Our wedding weekend was more magical than we could have ever imagined. When we first started planning, we realized venue availability was limited and knew we wanted a late summer/early fall wedding. After seeing Second Presbyterian Church and Canal 337, we fell in love. More importantly both had Setember 16, 2017 available, which couldn’t have been more fitting for us as we started dating in September, got engaged in September, and would now be married in September. We loved the combination of a traditional Christian ceremony with the modern/industrial and romantic atmosphere of Canal 337. As both venues are already so beautiful, we designed the decor to be a combination of elegant, fall colors done simplistically, including shades of soft purple, burgundy, cream/ivory, and lots of greenery. Having my maid of honor as one of the owners of Marie Gabriel Couture, I had seen a lot of gowns over the years. I always loved the classic, clean, yet modern look of Amsale. One evening, Anne-Marie and Young had my mother and I into the store after closing and we had a special evening trying on gowns. This will be a memory I never forget. Putting on my Amsale gown, “Britt”, I knew it was perfect for me and that Scott would love it. Overall, the weekend couldn’t have gone any better. Starting with a dinner and reception Friday evening at the Skyline Club as the sun set over Indianapolis, and ending with a beautiful brunch at my parents home in Zionsville on Sunday. Though we were full of nerves Saturday morning, they quickly dissipated after our first look with each other. From that moment on, the day was filled with happiness, love and laughter from everyone. Thanks to our vendors, family, and friends, our wedding weekend was flawless, full of love, and better than we could have imagined.

Favorite moment(s)? – Reading our personal vows during our first look, toasts from father of the bride, MOH, BM, and groom, and dancing the night away with our friends/family.
Funniest moment(s)? Pair of ripped trousers on the dance floor, full tray of wine glasses broken at the after party, and a few moments in the BM speech.
