A Sailboat Engagement Session on Geist Reservoir | Kelly & Andrew

Before Kelly and Andrew set sail (or, more accurately, fly!) to London for their next chapter, we squeezed in their unique and unforgettable engagement session on Geist Reservoir in north east Indianapolis, Indiana.

There’s something about getting out on the water for photos that makes an engagement session feel a little more like an adventure. Between the open water, beautiful summer light, and a sailboat as our backdrop, this was such a fun and unique way to celebrate the two of them before their big move.

Kelly and Andrew are heading to London for work, where they’ll have an entirely new city to explore and plenty of opportunities to travel throughout Europe. While they’re off making memories across the pond, they’ll also be counting down to another exciting chapter: their late-summer wedding next year!

The two will be celebrating at Kelly’s family home in Carmel, Indiana, surrounded by the people and places that mean the most to them. I love when a wedding location has that kind of personal history behind it, and I already know it’s going to be such a special day.
