Spring Lincoln Park Chicago Engagement Photography

Trista and Brody’s Spring Lincoln Park Chicago Engagement Photography Session

Initially, we had scheduled Trista and Brody’s engagement session for the winter. Then, snowpocalypse happened and they (essentially) decided to close Chicago. We were finally able to regroup in May, and were able to trade snow for beautiful cherry blossoms.

I met these two because they are friends of Meg and Spencer , whose wedding I photographed last fall. I knew without question that any friends of theirs would be great, but they left some pretty big shoes to fill. After trading hilarious and sweet emails with these two, I knew we were bound to have a fantastic time together. We started at their favorite caffeine watering hole, Fuel. Two things impressed me: (1) the coffee, and (2) how big of coffee aficionados these two are. And I thought I was into coffee…

After some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, we made our way to Lincoln Park for the remainder of their shoot. These two couldn’t have been more of a delight, and their love for each other and dynamic personalities shone through more and more with each shutter click. The Windy City lived up to its name, causing a few hair and attire issues, but in the end, provided us with even more smiles and laughter. Their November wedding at Salvatore’s is sure to be as amazing as these two.
