Downtown Indianapolis Early Fall Engagement Portraits

Andrea and Chris opted for an early morning engagement session in downtown Indianapolis. While I was hoping for a sunny morning, the Indianapolis mist and fog provided a unique backdrop for their portraits. These two were so effortless in front of the camera. I couldn’t be more excited to work with them in June 2018 with Frame Worthy Events!!

Q+A from Andrea and Chris:

Chris and I met at our small civil engineering office in Columbus, IN. He says that he remembers me from the day I had my in-office interview, but we didn’t start dating until nearly a year after I’d started working.
He proposed in front of a waterfall on the Comet Falls Trail in Mt. Rainier National Park. When we came up to the waterfall, no one else was around. I wanted to take some pictures of the waterfall, so I was taking my time getting my tripod set up and taking a few shots; meanwhile, he was getting the ring out of his pocket, which he’d been carrying for over 24 hours waiting for the perfect moment. I waved him over to take a picture in front of the waterfall when another family walked up and offered to take our picture. When I thought we were done, Chris said that he wanted one more picture and got down on one knee.
Our wedding will be at The Commons in Columbus, IN, and it will have a romantic, elegant feel with some modern touches. We liked the idea of having it in Columbus because this is our home; we love this city and are excited for our loved ones to come experience it for our special day!
