Chicago Engagement Photography at Promontory Point and the Violet Hour

Cate found me through a Style Me Pretty Illinois feature for Stefanie and Erik’s Cantigny Chicago Wedding. Cate has impeccable taste much like Style me pretty, my favorite wedding blog. So in planning her engagement session she wanted that soft, film look. She chose Promontory Point which has a unique south vista of Chicago then ended her session at The Violet Hour.

I made sure to bring macaron which complimented her wedding colors and also shot a few 120mm film rolls. The results are stunning as you’ll see below. These two were meant to be in front of the camera not to mention adorable together.
